As part of our school-wide PBIS character education program we will focus on specific character words each month. Students will learn and practice modeling these character traits, and then at the end of each month every grade level teacher will nominate a student to be chosen as the grade-level Character Student of the Month. These students that are selected will be recognized at a school-wide assembly. The grade level winner of all the nominees will receive a certificate and gift card from our building sponsor, Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. I look forward to helping teach students about important characteristics and motivating children to be the best they can be in the classroom and beyond.
